Description: This is a line data set that depicts the route location of the 2015 Mississippi River Trail Bikeway (MRT) in Minnesota. The segments of the MRT that are on road were selected and copied from a roadway centerline shapefile obtained from MnDOT in May 2010. Minor revisions were made to this base info based on 2009 FSA aerial photos and available information on roadway improvements between 2011 and 2015. The segments of MRT that are on existing trails were digitized by Stantec based on aerial photos.
